New Hires at Iconic

Dublin, Ireland – February 12, 2020 – Iconic Translation Machines Ltd. (Iconic), a global language technology software company, on the heels of another year of exceptional commercial growth, has recently hired 3 new staff members. Hailing from Estonia, South Africa and Taiwan, the two software engineers and one machine translation scientist truly round-out the “internationality” of Iconic’s Dublin office.

Martin Brehhov, from Estonia, and Alex Waller, from South Africa, have joined Iconic’s Development Team and will be working closely with the Scientific team to integrate their work with existing client systems while also contributing to Iconic’s ongoing new product development roadmap.

Dr. Chao-Hong Liu has joined the Scientific Team and will be researching and building MT systems with specific translation requirements for the diverse business needs of Iconic’s customers.

Dr. John Tinsley, CEO at Iconic said, “This is an exciting time for Iconic. We’ve had tremendous uptake of our translation solutions for e-discovery in the legal sector, and our move into life sciences has been really positive. We’ve expanded our team to support this growth – all the while keeping an eye on continuing to provide excellent customer experience.

Iconic’s core strength in Natural Language Processing (NLP) is playing a crucial role in building out custom automation solutions, including for digitisation, information extraction, indexing and, of course, translation. Iconic’s bespoke Language Technology solutions help to create the most effective workflows, saving time and ultimately, money for their customers.
